Cabernet Franc Rosé
Barossa Valley

This lively, fruit-driven Rose was made by traditional methods from Cabernet Franc fruit grown in our family’s Vine Vale vineyard. Fresh and vibrant, it is best served chilled and enjoyed with friends.

Winemaker Comments – Christian Canute
The hand-picked Cabernet Franc was gently de-stemmed and cold soaked for 4 days, providing the wine’s bright cherry hue, then Basket Pressed and cold fermented for 2 weeks. It shows the beautiful floral nose typical of Cabernet Franc, with a luscious palate of cherries and strawberries balanced by fine acidity. Perfect with spicy or Asian food, or as an aperitif.

Vintage Comments – James Hage, Vigneron
Grown in sand over clay soil on our Vine Vale Block, the vines cropped at 3 tonnes per acre and were hand-picked in mid-March.
